Costus igneus, commonly known as insulin plant in India, is an herbaceous plant which belongs to the family Costaceae.   Water– The insulin plant loves moisture and plenty of water, always ensure that the soil is wet, and water the plants more often. Ensure that the soil is not water-logged.
